Scope
The custom SharePoint-based web portal for the organization’s HR department aims to streamline resource management processes, encompassing employee onboarding and learning document management. By centralizing these tasks, it will save time and boost the productivity of the HR team. Additionally, the portal will facilitate efficient document management, ensuring easy access, version control, and security of learning documents, further enhancing organizational efficiency and compliance standards.

Challenges

  • All the employee-related documents from onboarding to their learning are being managed manually.
  • Managing the employee-related documents consumes a lot of effort and time.
  • Gathering the latest learning documents from individual employees and saving them in their records is challenging and again time-consuming.
  • Managing access permissions of the employee records is a major concern and hard to manage.

Solution Delivered

  • The HR users will be able to sign in using the details that will be provided to them.
  • They will be able to see the list of employees that are a part of the organization.
  • The HR user will be able to view the documents of each employee.
  • The user will be able to send a document to a particular employee for getting it signed.
  • Once the employee signs it and sends it back, a record of it will be on the portal.
  • If there is a document that has an expiry date, the user will get a notification one week prior to the expiry date. (Using Power automate)
